Spicy Cranberry Salsa, Chipotle Mashed Potatoes
& Apple Cider Margaritas
Spicy Cranberry Salsa
12 oz Fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
3/4 C Sugar
3 Tbsp Minced cilantro
2 Green onions, chopped
2 Tsp lime juice
1 Tsp Grated lime zest
1/4 Tsp each of ground allspice, cinnamon and cumin
1-2 Tsp Tia Lupita Hot Sauce
Place the cranberries, sugar, cilantro, onions, lime juice, zest spices and hot sauce in a food processor; cover and pulse just until blended. Transfer to a serving bowl; chill until serving.
Spicy Apple Cider Margarita
2 oz Apple cider
1 oz Silver tequila (we like Casamigos Blanco)
1/2 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Orange liqueur (we like Mathilde XO Orange Liqueur)
1/2 oz Agave syrup (optional: infused with cinnamon sticks overnight)
Few drops of Tia Lupita Hot Sauce
Coarse sugar, salt and cinnamon for rim
Infuse cinnamon sticks in agave syrup overnight if using. Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon on a plate. Wet rim of glass, coat with mixture and fill glass with ice. Place remaining ingredients in a shaker full of ice. Shake vigorously and pour over fresh ice in rimmed glass.
Chipotle Mashed Potatoes
Simply add a teaspoon or 2 of Tia Lupita Chipotle Hot Sauce to your traditional mashed potatoes to your desired taste. Enjoy!
